Government and their citizens. There is, undoubtedly, a disconnect.
People want solutions, people want their voices heard by their representatives. But two problems arrise. One, there is no singular forum in which Government readily communicates between citizen and official. This causes a serious disconnect between government officials and the people they represent. How are government officials suppose to have a clear understanding of problems and issues to solve, when there is no system of feedback from their own constituients?
To top that off, when people try to file a complaint, the process becomes muddied. ’Who do I contact?’ ‘How do I complain effectively?’ and ‘What sector do I contact?’ are questions that come up to the understandably frustrated individual.
